Q. How do I Select a Patch?
1. Press the [PATCH] button.
2. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select a Patch.

1. Press the [PERFORM] button.
2. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select a Performance.
3. To change the Performance number in steps of 10, turn the [VALUE] dial while pressing it.


Q. How do I Select a Rhythm Set to play Percussion sounds?
1. Set the MIDI Transmit Channel of your keyboard to Channel 10.
2. Press the [RHYTHM] button.
3. Use the left or right [CURSOR] buttons to move the cursor to the Rhythm Set number.
4. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select another Rhythm Set.


Q. How do I Select a Tone?
1. Press the [PATCH] button.
2. Select Patch P-000 SC-880 by turning the [VALUE] dial.
3. Press the [TONE] button.
4. Use the left or right [CURSOR] buttons to move the cursor to the Tone number.
5. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select a Tone.


Q. How do I Change a Tone set?
1. First select the Tone you would like to hear.
2. Use the left or right [CURSOR] buttons to move the cursor to the Tone set number. The Tone set number is indicated by [ ] around the number.
3. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select a new Tone set.


Q. How do I Select a Variation?
1. First select the Tone you would like to hear.
2. Use the left or right [CURSOR] buttons to move the cursor to the Variation number.
3. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select a Variation.





Q. How do I Turn the EQ On & Off for each Part?
1. Press the [PATCH] button.
2. Press the [TONE] button.
3. Press the [EDIT] button.
4. Use the up [CURSOR] button to move the cursor to the menu name.
5. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select “Effect Send”
6. Use the [PART] buttons to select the part you would like to set the EQ on or off for.
7. Use the [CURSOR] button to move the cursor to “EQ”.
8. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select On or Off.


Q. How do I Adjust the Effect Amount that is applied to each Part?
1. Press the [TONE] button.
2. Press the [EDIT] button.
3. Use the up [CURSOR] button to move the cursor to the menu name.
4. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select “Effect Send”
5. Use the [PART] buttons to select the part you would like to adjust the effects for.
6. Use the [CURSOR] button to move the cursor to the parameter you would like to adjust.
7. Turn the [VALUE] dial to adjust the value.


Q. How do I Save a Patch?
1. Press the [WRITE] button.
2. Use the up [CURSOR] button to move the cursor to the menu name.
3. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select “Patch Write.”
4. Use the down [CURSOR] button to move the cursor to the user patch number.
5. Turn the [VALUE] dial to select the user patch where you would like to save your new patch.
6. Press the [ENTER] button.

4. Use the down [CURSOR] button to move the cursor to “LCD Contrast”.
5. Turn the [VALUE] dial to adjust the contrast.


Q. How do I Reset the SC-880 to its Factory Preset settings?
1. Press the [UTILITY] button.
