Meters are clipping when recording digitally into the Mac.

1) Application can not lock to the external digital clock source.2) Application is registering the reception of full code audio. The clip indicators flash but the audio does not sound clipped (Sound Designer II indicates a clipped condition when it sees one full code sample at 16bit - check the peaks in the waveform for clipping).
