When I try to open a Media Composer exported OMFI Sequence in OMF Tool, it gets half way done and then quits or crashes.

OMF tool needs a large amount of RAM to keep track of all the OMF elements in the sequence. Try increasing the preferred memory size of OMF tool by 5000K and try the conversion again.
