Q:
MOTU Issue: Scrubbing, Auditioning, or Previewing destructive effects
A:
When scrubbing, auditioning, or previewing a Premiere or MAS destructive effect the output will route to the first available pair of outputs on your audio hardware. If you have a 2408, we recommend configuring Bank A as Analog so that the output you preview will be routed to Analog 1-2. If your audio hardware allows you to select a particular pair of outputs for monitoring or auditioning then Digital Performer 2.6 will have the ability to selectively use those outputs for previewing destructive effects.
Note: With Motu Audio hardware, scrubbing and auditioning a soundbite will send output to what ever you have assigned as Monitor Outputs in the PCI-324 Console or the Configure Hardware Driver Window.
